Obama, the speaker.
From Flickr Obama Inauguration on Flickr by John W.

Well today we ushered in a new era. I'm not sure exactly what I want to say about this, except that President Obama's Inaugural Address was beautiful, as was the inaugural poem. I have stolen the New York Times transcriptions of these for safe keeping, but I'm going to publish my copies here.

Finally the above image was grabbed off of Flickr, which has a great pool of photo's from the event. Welcome to another four years.

Spent today playing with lmctfy. It still has a ways to go, but pretty neat.

Interesting discussion of working remotely and Google.

These three articles are all kind of loosely connected. First, Github and Holman talking about building features. It's nothing new, but it's such an awesome sounding world to develop in. I feel like Google does thing similarly, but at such a different scale and scope. Second, a comic adaptation of Neil Gaiman's famous commencement speech. Third, an article about clearing your head with paper. Three things about creating stuff. Now go make something.
